A major weaknesses in Penang, which has been recognised by the state government, is the unbalanced development between the island and the mainland. To redress the imbalance, effort to develop and promote potential areas in the mainland is very much needed.
Thank you YB Gooi Hsiao Leung, the ADUN of Bukit Tengah-S.Prai and also a lawyer, for visiting us in UOW KDUUC Penang for the brainstorming session. Kuala Juru in Bukit Tengah has been highlighted as one of the potential areas to be promoted as the next tourist attraction.
