Jom Makan! is an event that promotes local cuisines, provide fun and encourage people for the harmonious gathering.
Organised by the Foodie Fellow, this event successfully organised on 8/4/2023 at Sia Boey Urban Archeological Park from 5.00pm to 10.00pm.
The biggest achievement of this event is to be able to share some of the proceeds (consists of food items) to the charities. The food items that have been donated to the charities which is worth more than RM8,000.00 have been donated to the Rumah Anak Yatim Perempuan dan Lelaki Pulau Pinang as well as the small children of B40 community from Tadika Wawasan Kejayaan located at the Regional Centre for Education in Science and Mathematics Malaysia (RECSAM). These food items will be shared among them for their Hari Raya celebration.
Even though the crowd is not as what has been expected, but the team managed to accumulate RM3468.86 in total, where each of them will be getting RM495.55 for profits sharing.
